k-Schur function code.
With your patch, one obtains
sage: ks3 = kSchurFunctions(QQ,3,1)
sage: h = SFAHomogeneous(QQ)
sage: h(ks3([3,3,1]))
0
whereas without
sage: ks3 = kSchurFunctions(QQ,3,1)
sage: h = S
