[sage-devel] Sage-5.0-beta5 build failed on linux

Hi, I am trying to build the latest development version of SAGE on a large multiprocessor dell linux machine, and it failed with the following error message. The error message is rather cryptic, so please let me know if there is any specific architecture/log information you need. Thanks, -Jon

I am not sure how your packaging works. Do you install into some temporary directory first and then tar/bzip the resulting directory? Then, if the user changes the directory in which (s)he installs Sage (and this will obviously happen), then it will need to be run as root once. Also see this ti
