Well, maybe history for the js folder would be better:

Is there some console for iOS that shows what's wrong or at least where
things get stuck? Current version is very verbose in terms of logging, you
should be able to see all messages

Thanks a lot for pointing it out -
There are packages that are obsolete, e.g. frobby, which does not build
anymore (you'd need to download the spkg file to try), yet one can see docs
like
http://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/reference/interfaces/sage/interfaces/frobby.html
Well, frobby is not too hard to fix, I suppose. But there

I think inspection of #852 is fairly conclusive although the final word
on the matter would rest on singular devs as they are the one the patch
was stolen from.
If you search the Trac database for users github/matsen and github/switzel
and compare the results with open pull requests, the integration appears to
have stopped working in the middle of 2015.

I got a report that iOS app using SageMathCell is broken and I imagine the
same is true for Android. Can someone look into updating them? This commit
may be helpful in figuring out what to do:

Thank you!

I tried to do archeology once for this one and found nothing conclusive...
By the way, I've forwarded all of our patches/hackery to Victor Shoup some
monthes/years ago and he said he'll try to integrate them.
Maybe it's time to politely ask once again about what has not been
integrated (e.g.

Thanks, I saw that. I don't want to "(C) My Name" though. Is there a

The point here is kind of reversed: You don't give away you copyrights.
You explicitly announce your ownership to code and give all others
permission

There is no contributor license agreement. Every file must be GPLv2+
licensed. If you start a new file you have copyright on that module whether
you put your name in there or not; But we need the GPLv2+ statement to
distribute it as part of Sage.

Hi,
I am not a lawyer, I don't pretend to be a lawyer, nor do I even
pretend like I know anything about copyrights or licenses beyond what
I can read on Wikipedia.
So I'm very confused about the policy for copyrighting any work I
contribute to sage. I would like to add a new file to sage--I've
That’s old… After digging it looks like the first version of this is from #852.

There is build/pkgs/ntl/patches/new_singular.patch that changes a macro
(expanding to new rather than to new(std::nothrow)), and it is said to be
related to Singular, without details or a link to a trac ticket.
Where can I read more on this?
Thanks,
