Be aware, if you build packages in parallel with SAGE_PARALLEL_SPKG_BUILD=yes, your disk usage will increase dramatically. With a serial build, only one Sage package is ever decompressed at any one time. With a parallel build, that is no longer true and disk usage will depend on what the 'MAKE' variable is set to.

On my home PC I have 946 GB of disk space free, so it's not an issue. In contrast, if I try to build sage on 't2' using only local disks for best performance, then it becomes a very serious issue.

So just be aware of it.
