I've now tagged 2.8.0-rc1, our first release candidate for the
flint-2.8 branch. Development on trunk now continues for the next
release.
Please report all remaining issue to our GitHub issue tracker. We will
issue release candidates until there are no further critical issues
reported
I have opened https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/32175 to track this.
