Hi, 1. sagenb.org, sagemath.org, sage.math, boxen.math, etc., should all be back up.
2. I rebooted boxen, mod, and geom after upgrading their "ILOM Firmware", so if you had jobs running on any of those machines, they were killed. 3. The computer "disk.math" serves everybody's home directories; it's an 8-core Opteron box running OpenSolaris. I will be deleting OpenSolaris from disk.math.washington.edu in about 2 weeks, and instead installing Linux. When I do this, the directory /home will be served from a 2TB USB disk plugged into boxen.math via NFS. Since /home currently uses 2.6TB, it would be good if everybody could look around and delete files they don't need. Thus expect some instability/downtime/etc. in about 2 weeks. -- William On Wed, Sep 1, 2010 at 1:33 PM, William Stein <wst...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > > Most sage.math related infrastructure will be down for the next few > hours for maintenance. > > William > > -- > William Stein > Professor of Mathematics > University of Washington > http://wstein.org > -- William Stein Professor of Mathematics University of Washington http://wstein.org -- To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org
