Hello all,

I am currently looking for a reasonable development project that I can
work on in Sage over the Summer and it was brought to my attention that
Sage does not have much functionality when it comes to some areas of
Complex Dynamics. Would it be reasonable for me to try to implement the
plotting of mandelbrot and julia sets in Sage? There is already software
such as Mandel <http://mndynamics.com/indexp.html> that allow for
excellent graphical interface and I was wondering how difficult it would be
to either interface Sage with an existing library or implement some of the
functionality into Sage myself. Is implementing existing software into Sage
unreasonable? I thought I would ask for advice from people who know more
about Sage and Complex Dynamics before I move forward with pursuing this.

Thank you for your help,

Ben Barros
