The current version of the database_cremona_ellcurve spkg is indeed
20140101 but I am not sure how to get rid of mention of older
versions. I still have an older version sitting in my upstream
directory and I don't think anything will cause it to be deleted
automatically.

I built sage-6.1.1 and installed various optional packages, etc.. When I do
./sage -optional
I see

NOT INSTALLED:
...
database_cremona_ellcurve-20121022
And when I do:
salvus@salvus-base:/usr/local/sage/sage-6.2$ ./sage -i database_cremona_ellcurve
