On Ubuntu 18.04 running on Xeon E5-2623 + 16 GB RAM:

- incremental build (from 8.8.beta3) completed but (as in Sage
8.8.beta1,2) with huge number of errors in building the documentation, all
with the same message:
[dochtml] UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode
