Thanks Rych! I appreciate your testing both the animation and the 3d plots. I see the http://dev.math.canterbury.ac.nz/ is 4.7.1 Is this a permanent site? Is there a document that tells the differences between 4.7, 4.7.1 and 4.7.2? (So far I have only found that line3d doesn't work in 4.7.)

Hello, I believe this is trac ticket #11970: http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/11970 It will be fixed in the prerelease version 4.8.rc0 (and in the final release 4.8). You can apply the fix yourself by downloading the file readline-6.2.p3.spkg mentioned on the trac ticket and
