I'm using sage-4.8 and those commands work just fine!
Cheers.

even if I am stubborn and try to plot my arrays in
Jmol, the text3d for labeling the axes stands on the axes, What can I do for
the text to be outside the plot frame?
- Finally, Can the figures be exported as PDF? So far I can export them
as JPEG.
Thank you all!

Thank you for any help!

Hi again.
I've seen the documentation for plot. However, the last of the points I
highlight seems to be not possible.
I'd like to change the numerical ticks (1,2,3,4) by alphabetical ones (eta,
xi, lambda, rho).
Thank you

pute, the result looks like,
3*D[0](f)(r)^2 + (r^2*e^(2*g(r))*D[0](g)(r) +... et cetera.
Is there any way to configure sage to show the output like,
D[0](f)(r) = f' and so on!!
Thank you!

Hi everyone!
I'm impressed with the evolution of the show function, specially the
ability of show readable equations.
I was wondering if one can define a variable and ask to show-function
to write in LaTeX output something else.
Exaxmple:
** Good
var('phi')
show(phi)
... show returns $\theta
Hi Renato!
I tried something a bit different
sage: reset()
sage: def s(x,n):^Jreturn x/2 + sum(cos(k*x),k,1,n)
:
sage: var('x,n,k')
(x, n, k)
sage: plot(s(x,5), (x,0,2*pi))
and it worked!
Enjoy!

Hi Joris,
I must say ain't a programmer, and my `free' time is not much.
However, I'd like to help you implementing the code for improving the
diff. forms manipulation.
Feel free of contact me. Regards,
Dox.

Hello Vijay:
I got the same message some time ago. This was solved when I enable
the ``work off-line'' mode of Firefox.
Hope it'll work for you!
