I'm hoping someone can suggest a way to remove an optional spkg,
specifically the scitools++ package.

It looks like the scitools++ package may not be compatible with the
current numpy and matplotlib packages, and I want to remove it and try
scitools-.4 instead. Is there a way to do this without blowing up and
rebuilding my whole sage-4.0.alpha0?

I realize that full package management is an eventual dream, but right
now I'd be overjoyed just to have a list of files that were installed
by each package. Is there any chance of making that baby step
someday, or does this have to be all or nothing - i.e. nothing will
change until we get full package managment?
