I have an equation T = integral from a to b of sqrt(1+A*sin^2(x)) dx
where I know T, a, and b, but I don't know A. Can I use Sage to solve this? (I happen to know that A is close to zero, so I can replace the integrand by a Taylor polynomial (in terms of A) and then integrate that, but is there another way?) -- John -- To post to this group, send email to sage-support@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to sage-support+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URL: http://www.sagemath.org
