Hi: A related question to the Sage+Tck/Tk issue:
After installing the Tck/Tk development libraries and reinstalling Sage's Python, I installed Sage's PIL optional package. It compiled fine for the most part but the tkinter connection is missing (it's a file called _imagingtk.so in site-packages/PIL/*).
