I think all of us should take your lead and be a little more thoughtful
before pressing the SEND button. E-mails are like words (which have been
likened to bell tones) once spoken (or tolled) they are difficult to
retract.

You have a point. However, I inadvertenly pressed reply not realising that
it was the network address rather than
