It is with a sad heart that I give the news that Dr. Hilary deSouza has lost
his battle with cancer and left for a better life in the beyond.
He died at the age of +90 at 1.05 am today 4 February. He is survived by
Cleta, having shared a +62 year marriage with his wife. His family were

Condolences to the extended families of Gerard and Sheila. U. Olfie certainly
had a sharp, enquiring mind and I remember the play “Murder is Easy” where he
played a part.
It was a pleasure catching up with Gerard and Sheila during my recent trip to
Goa. Unfortunately, U. Olfie was unwell an
ping ground.

My sincere condolences to Mr Albert Cordeiro and family on the death of his
wife Philomena. Special condolences to Sunita and Anil. May the Lord grant them
strength to continue their journey without her endearing support.
Mrs Cordeiro as I knew her, was a very kind and genuinely nice person.
A lovely lady and neighbour of mine. Mrs Da cruz was indeed an extremely
gracious lady, kind and always had a smile on her face. Condolences to the
entire daCruz clan especially Dilip, Ashok, Lorna, Zeena who I knew very well.
May they have the strength to carry this loss with grace and strengt
so selflessly treated over the decades in Saligoa and Mapusa
when you meet them in the next life. My deepest condolences to Ajay and the
rest of the family. May they have the strength and fortitude to carry on
without his physical presence

Handed over to Fred (around 23 October)a couple of articles and brochures on
recycling and other things that I had collected here from our local council.
I did ask that it be given to the most appropriate persons who would put it
to good use. I was actually thinking about Mario at that time
f so inclined compared to whole blood which one can donate
only every 12 weeks.
I hope to catch up with you guys in Goa shortly - between 23 to 30 Oct.
Hopefully will be in Saligao around 26-28th or so.
