The Under 17-years girls team of Lourdes Convent High School beat Fatima Convent High School, Margao, in the finals of the State Level Inter School Basketball Tournament.
The finals were held at Fr. Agnel Multipurpose School, Verna, on Feb 22, 2017. Earlier, at the district level , they had beaten the Mary Immaculate High School, Panjim. At the taluka level they had beaten St Anthony's High School, Duler, and St Francis Xavier High School, Mapusa.
