DELIMITATION SPARES SALIGAO CONSTITUENCY: The Delimitation Commission has retained the Saligao constituency, which was renamed as Guirim constituency as per the draft working paper. However, the Pale and Loutulim constituencies have been renamed as Sankhalim and Nuvem constituencies respectively. With this, there will be now only three new Assembly segments - Porvorim in Bardez taluka, Vaddem in Mormugao taluka and Davorlim in Salcete taluka. (GT)
