If only I didnt have all these problems with the Server since yesterday, would have replied to Albert's posting. Albert, just because nobody commented on your posting, doesnt mean they didnt read, agree or whatever. What do you want us to say? We know this since before & most Saligaokars have sweated & got to where they are today, so it's nothing new.... I still maintain the same - dignity of labour. Those who dont realise that, well it's their loss not yours or mine.. Having said that, not all are able to get jobs, paperwork, permissions etc. from the Govt. very easily, it takes ages to get one document from an office, & one runs from pillar to post - definitely frustrating, you know that as well as I do, the budding entrepreneurs dont bloom at all, they dry up as buds... so those who would have started things but were not successful (no fairy god parents in the offices or no influence) are sitting on their (...oops!) seats!
Albert, your suggestiona & ideas are worthy of being noted & taken up, I'm sure some will do that & hopefully be successful. Co-op Society and all! Who is going to approach the Field Owners etc? For those of us who are established & nearing our dotage, well we'll sit, walk or run as the case maybe as we cant do anything else now - bones & muscles are too stiff to plough, bend in the fields, climb to the roof to change the tiles, - as for me, even cycling has become difficult - feel as if I'm getting a heart attack as opposed to the time when my cycle got me everywhere, & as for climbing the ladder - forget it, in as much we could climb trees & snatch various fruit from far out branches, now just the thought of being a foot up from the floor gives me vertigo...
So all you youngsters out there, start climbing - literally & figuratively, else you'll just be sitting on your seats like me, but unlike me - with no cashflow - comprenez?
Those who have to struggle, will struggle & get to where they want to be with encouragement from people like you I hope, Albert ...& they need capital too .... need a benefactor unless you are suggesting that the Govt. should be their benefactor. We are then back to square one, arent we?
Have a nice evening, I'm off to Church to ask the good Lord for enough health to sit on my seat for the next few years & to thank Him for allowing me to sit on same seat for so many years. Bicycle seat is no longer in the picture of course.
