An OID is a numeric representation
An OID is a numeric representation of a paramater.
Example:
System description is 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0
The OID info can be found in MIB files. MIB files are made by company's
that have SNMP enabled devices.
SNMP traps also use OIDs to give info on what is wrong.
