Well, I believe that the protocol definition is correct,
as when the server isn't having problems it gives an "up".
In the last case I just had though, the server was responding
immediately, but instead of a "220 ready" it was giving a "420 server
too busy". It was appea
In 99% of the cases were you get the message "connection possible but
received data not correct" it means that nothing was received within the
given timeout. (that is if you're sure that the protocol definition is
correct).
