No it's "correct" that it returns in that case "connection possible but returned data not correct" (or something similar). I didn't forsee a way to get the real data back into the %e parameter...maybe something to forsee for the future...only BIG issue will be that IF ther is wrong data returned t

well I get system error of 53 the network path not found ..and dont get any share listing. linux is redhat 7.2 , os selected was linux can t get list of processcess and neither mounted dives if a check is done of diskspace, external com v1 build 32 is used , using nix process check latest

When you do a     NET VIEW \\server-name from the command prompt, do you get the list of share on that system? (the ones that gives the 1722 in SA)   What kind of Linux is running on the remote system? What OS did you select from the list?  What version of the COM check are you using?   Dirk
