Sequentially.
Due to deletes/moves within the file it could look almost
random however.

I would create a script to scan one of the files and update it with a UID
higher than the largest one in the other file.
Use # as field delimiters and Cartridge returns as record separators.
Update Columns 9 - UID and 5 - Dependencies
9 Contains Text as Follows:
UID=20

OK... UID is the only thing that's truly unique for each check, right? Were they assigned sequentially or anything?
Sounds like I'd be better off merging the small file into the larger one, instead of the other way around. I'll remove my dependencies in the small file... one less headache.

There are some issue you'll have with
it:
* UID needs to be unique within the

* the dependencies uses the

I'd like to merge 2 host files, instead of trying to recreate all of the checks on one of my servers relocating some checks to another server for time factors...
Has anyone done this successfully? Or does anyone have any suggestions on what pitfalls I may run into?

Hi
Well I for example do a diskspace check. I build a query in SQL that filters the
output to the following:

Title: DNS Query Problem
I upgraded to Enterprise v4.1.1627 from an earlier beta (I believe it was v4.1.1608). The DNS check is to test that our "www" entry resolves to exactly one IP address. This worked fine in the previous version. After the upgrade, I am receiving the message "ERR: retu

Hi,
I've configured ServerAlive to ouptut the data to SQL. Now I would like to build some
nice reports based upon those. I'm thinking of using Crystal Reports for it, but am
having some problems converting the values and getting the right grouping. Has anyone

This would mean that YOU as user would have to write the
scripts for it and that Servers Alive should be able to execute
them.
Not sure how this would/could be done, but the idea is a
good one.
