[SA-list] Problem with server PING

Running Salive 4.1.1609 on W2k Pro SP4. I've got a check setup to ping one of our servers and it routinely fails even though a command-line ping to the same server is successful. The check is setup to do 4 pings with a timeout of 4 seconds. The Salive log shows, 3/11/2004 1:12:52 PM

I've got salive to check to see if Kiwi's syslog is running. I'm using the default port of 1468, this is working well. I have also added salive to load syslog if the port check fails. This also is working well.. Thanks to all for the information... Regards, Gene [EMAIL
