Title: Message
Just as a follow up, we replaced the generic
modem we had with a new USR modem. The page tests work every time
now. Not sure why the other modem wasn't paging properly but we seem to
have it all working which is all that matters.
Thanks for the help,
Steve

Sorry forgot about the rest of the question. :)
Right now I use an SNMP call to get the temp and hunidity, and since temp
output is in Celcius, I'm looking to have v.5 convert to Fahrenheight
(haven't tried this yet).
Also, the stand-alone fellers have a 4 zone contact alarm setup that I have

Dirk,
We monitor temperature with the QK145 Serial Temperature Sensor:
http://store.qkits.com/moreinfo.cfm/QK145
A Custom app returns an errorlevel representing the temperature at one of
four specified locations. Works very well and is inexpensive.

I would like to know what kind of environmental sensors you're using.
And if you're using them together with Servers Alive (and if so what check
type are you using for them)

Do any of you have "device" that they would like to check via Servers Alive
but were it's need to first do an SNMP SET before an SNMP GET can be done?
If so what kind of devices are these and about how many SETs are we talking
(before a GET can be done).

Dirk,
Just a 'simple' query, If there is such a thing!
I have several alerts set-up monitoring a host of thresholds. When an alert
is triggered it sends out an email etc etc. Now I want to display a
separate message, when the threshold limits are now satisfied, a different
message goes out than
