I have a lot of software checks that take time to process, so the 1,2,3 minutes between checks becomes 3,4,5 depending on how fast some of these checks respond. I am currently at 270 checks, and I haven’t even gotten 1/3 of my environment entered into the program, and as of last week. We just a

In this particular case I want an APC unit to send SA a trap so SA will send me a email or SMS message saying an event occurred. Or another scenario have an environmental sensor send SA a trap saying its too hot in a room, and have it trigger SA and send me a message. Instead of waiting for SA

Nico, Had the same problem, solved it by letting the check depend on a check to a batch file. The batch file checks time and a run once flag and gives an errorlevel to SA. It is not exactly on time (depends on how long your checks are running) but it will only run once within a decent time
