We are using Azure with multiple subscriptions at my place of work. Mostly for
off-site backup replication of servers on the network in the smaller offices.
As of October I will be more involved with our Azure setup, as I have not
previously had any exposure to it.

The timeout means that the COM checks isn't able to perform the check
within the given time.
One solution is to increase the timeout, other is the reduce the size of
the eventlog (clearing it might already help)

The problem with this kind of questions is that nobody dares to say that they
will never use it.
So I guess Anthonys suggestion is the way to go.
