If my brains still works fine (however I think/feel it's still asleep for a
large part) there was an issue with the HELO/EHLO command when running SA on
nT4.
And I "think" it was solved in a
odstone.nu/soft/salive51.exe

the test button, make sure you push Apply after each change, before
testing it.

We have version 5 of servers alive installed on an NT4 box. It was working,
but we upgraded to version 5 and now SMTP alerts will not go out. The
checks are going through just fine, but on any failure, no email is being
sent out. When I test is in setup for SMTP, I get a 501 HELO error "5.0.0
