I have two
NT4 systems, one server and 1 workstation. SAlive won't dial out to the
numeric pager number on either system when a server failure is detected.
If you look at the log file, it says "LINEERR_INCOMPATIBLEAPIVERSION [8000000C] -
lineOpen". I have
had no other problems with the modem...can receive calls and send calls just
fine.
The
dial-out used to work finre on the workstation, but quit working yesterday,
after installing PalTalk, AOL instant messenger, and a few other voice-chat
programs, which have since been uninstalled. I have also re-installed
SAlive, but that didn't fix the problem
either.
I have come to LOVE this SAlive
program, and depend on it, and would really appreciate any insight anyone can
give.
