I have to say Johnna that I couldn't have said it any better myself. The
bigger picture truly has been lost in the utter irrelevance of copyright

Whistling wind, a tumbleweed floats across the list...
Unlikely to be here :-)
A look in the BT PhonesDisc reveals only one 'GORDAN, B' in Swansea.
Could be...

Sounds like the next SAM get-together should be in Swansea, so we can

This is like going back to the start of the discussion! The titles he does hold
the copyright and distribution rights for are not currently on sale - but they
soon will be re-released for a few quid from Sam Community with the profits
going to charity.

On the subject of old games, there are a couple I am looking for my own
collection if someone is selling off any of their Sam stuff... Some of the old
ones from 1990/1991, if in good condition, boxed etc... a couple spring to mind
at the moment - Klax, from Enigma Variations, and Astroball from

Ledbury.

Sadly the SAM scene has been plagued down the years by people who want to
debate the fine print and small details whilst the big picture dissapears
down the river.
Anyway, I've had a change of heart. I think the people who are holding on
dearly to copyrights for games over ten years old are neing

It is very interesting, yes, but it's not what SAM Users is about!
The list has cooled Johnna, only because we seem intent on musing over the
finer points of copyright law. All very interesting as I'm sure you'll
agree
