I think, you found the solution. Although I did not find the entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers\Connections\servername,printer_name as this tree was empty! There was no entry for the problematic printer. But I looked the other subkeys DevModePerUser and deleted all keys for this printer. I also
