This is definitely a problem with 3.0.23 - a second system (that
functioned fine yesterday) is now exhibiting the same behavior after a
yum upgrade last night. Once again, I can connect to homes and
printers, but no other shares. I am pretty sure this is related to the
problem Anton is having, in
It appears that we are experiencing the same problem - after upgrade to
3.0.23 I cannot access any shares on my Linux systems except for the
home and printer shares. My configuration has not changed since 3.0.22
- it just stopped working.
Have you had any luck with this problem?

Is there any tips/docs on trouble shooting a custom passdb module? The

The kinit part went OK but the net ads join part failed.
What we tried is to have our SAMBA jo

I installed samba version 3.0.23 this morning for a Debian system (sarge), but
it appears to have failed, and "smbd" will not start. A snippet from the log

Hi all!
I'm trying to setup a linux samba server as a domain member of a SINGLE FOREST
MULTI DOMAINS.
The forest is a 2 servers acting as a global catalog.
Other domains are child domain with implicit trust with forest. I setup a linux
server with samba as a domain member to work with squid, auth
location doesn't show up in printers' list.
comments and models are visible bit not the location

hi everybody,
after updating 3.0.13 to 3.0.23 some groups like "Domain Admins" do not
have the permissions of the samba 3.0.13.
My question: How are the "special" rights (like Adminstrators, Doman
Admins, etc in 3.0.13) defined in samba version 3.0.23?
Ex.
net groupmap add ntgroup=winadmin

hi
in short words:
what is the difference in output between:
Trusted domains list:
DOMA S-1-5-21-790525478-1844823847-725345543
DOMB S-1-5-21-776971034-1374619893-1389755056
