Hi,
I am able to join a Windows XP client to the samba

changes effective, I get the error bellow:

Also, if I choose to log on to the domain from the

Actually, i'm porting samba-2.0.6 to my embedded system to whom the flash
and memory are both very precious. What I want is to minimize the binary
size (less than 2M), and my embedded system needs only the rudimentary
features, such as read, write and basic authtication.

Hi,
I've just updated (using yum under fedora 5) to the latest version of

OK, probably a rookie question, but I've got some users that have been

I figured out what my problem was. It was with nss_ldap not

the same users etc in the local file as I did in ldap. After adding
some more users to ldap and running "getent passwd", I realized they

You need to say to samba which password use to connect to your LDAP tree.

Thanks Gerald,
Finally, the other kicker of the problem is when I mount the samba share
on the system locally, SAMBA constantly attempts to reauthenticate with
the RADIUS server, which in turn constantly fails the connection as the
password has indeed changed (they're one time passwords)

The Unix password sync is just that. It synchronizes the Unix password
