Hi,
I have samba-3.0.23d-1tr on a trustix 3.0 system.
This samba was joined to a win 2k3 domain and it works perfect for lot of
months.
Now I can access only to tmp share, and samba server is sometimes slow to
expose all shares.
If I launch wbinfo u or wbinfo g, I still see the users/group
Hi there
After having posted a while ago about the trouble I had with 3.0.23 I
gave it another try with 3.0.23d
I installed the current version on our samba PDC and BDC while the
member server was still running 3.0.22. This setup has worked for a
couple of weeks with no issues.

Hi Guido,

Okay,
I have been a lurker for some time, so it is time to show my ignorance.
I thought that you could only have one (1) PDC in a Windows Domain. If
you are trying to join a Samba PDC to a domain that implies that the
other domain has a PDC already. Of course I could be full of it also.
Hello,
I have two samba servers, A is configured as a PDC, B offers some
additional shares. B is getting usernames and passwords via winbind
from a, using the following configuration directives:
| idmap uid = 100-999
| idmap gid = 100-999
| winbind enum users = yes
| winbind enum groups = yes

Michael, All,
I have been going back through the Samba archives looking to see if a
Samba+LDAP+Kerberos configuration is possible given my situation.
Mostly I see posts that say You can't get there from here., but I
