I edit the lp_load() of the samba source that this fuction may modify the
smb.conf sometimes. How can I let all the samba daemons know that?
Restarting samba service may cause all link break up.

Thanks for your answer. I played with my network (I can do it, because it is
only for testing and learning purposes) and found the followings:
My Windows client do use the WINS server specified, it seems, the only
problem is, that my PDC somehow forgets to register itself in WINS. Look
what I get

When call function skel_stat(handle,psz_path,buf)
with psz_path="Counter-Strike 1.6 for Domolink Server1.rar", throw any times of
error ENOENT (Im produce it) I was got psz_path (variable only) autochanged by
samba on
"Counter-Strike 1.7 for Domolink Server1.rar"
if make it as 1.7
This is a big problem with samba 3.x because it's use NetBIOS for domain logon.
DNS is not supported on samba 3.x because Samba 3.x working on NT.4 technology
and its only support Netbios domain name. If you want to use DNS with Samba
then you should go for Samba 4.0 it's base on Windows 2003 te
Have you tried to add "winbind" at the file nsswitch.conf for the fields
passwd, group and shadow?
So, if you have SFU at your DC, you don't need winbind to authenticate
users, you can configure the system for a LDAP binding.

Im try user unlink with VFS in samba 3.0.28a,
VFS it provide for my FS.
but if I make delete file in WinXP, file removed from folder, but after
update (F5) file show again

I just install the Samba4 Alpha 5. Everyone is OK. I want to change the
password policy but no any utility found. Who can help me on this?
In the default setting, the password policy is a complex mode.
