I'm running since a couple of years a samba ver 3.0.33-3.29.el5_6.2
On a Red Hat 5 with kernel 2.6.18.
Samba is member of a domain, with short name BNNAS03; some shares are
using domain users, some are anonymous, open to a list of IPs.
Suddenly is happening that, from my win7 computer is
Bad news... i have been able to set up an anonymous share and any
windows client (inside and outside the domain) can connect without been
asked for any password.
But on a machine (win2003,present in hosts allow) runs a service
(running as local system account) which is not able to connect to th

Password"...
i will try to evaluate about security issues involved by this global

hi everyone,
i'
binfo -u | grep
#wbinfo -i
blabla correct user name and surname
#wbinfo -u | grep
#wbinfo -i
Could not get info for user
So samba can find all users, but some of them are "problematic". Basic
AD settings seem identical between user OK and user NOT OK.
What to do?
