I have a Samba server running 3.0. Whenever I run smbstatus, I get a
messages about sessionid.tdb not being initialized, and don't see anything
about the multiple users that are connected. I've seen many posts about

I would also like to know why. I had assumed if you had an lmhosts file with
the IP addresses, this would solve the problem. I have one on by my PDC and
locally, all I can see is my W2K host, but not the two Linux Samba hosts on
my local net. This used to work a long., long time ago, but why i
