I just downloaded Samba 2.2.8 source and began to compile on my AIX 4.3.3 box. I
executed the "./configure" and make and they seem to run just fine. When I executed
"make install", I get the following error:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/bobby/samba-2.2.8/source> make install

I'm installing Samba version 2.2.7.0 using smit install. Smit installs everything but
doesn't create a /usr/local/samba dir. All the samba files are located in
/usr/local/bin. But when I try to test my setup and so smbpasswd, it wants to look
for everything in /usr/local/samba dir.
