I am configuring Samba for the first time and I have configured it on a Solaris 10 server. I believe I have everything setup correctly. The smbd daemon is running and I performed a test with the smbclient. The problem I'm now having is from the windows client. From the Windows client I map a drive, I log in with the user account and passwd, when I click to connect, I don't get an indication that I have connected to the share or not. I haven't received an error that it didn't work but I haven't received access to the Samba share either. Any ideas? Thanks! Reg This message and any attachments are confidential.
