Hi,
Does samba has any performance or statistical counters that could be used to

Hi,
Sorry for cross-posting, but this seems to be an interdiciplinary issue.
I would like our users to get a popup notification of the completion /
failure of their jobs.
I think that best way to implement this would be from CUPS, but I
don't know how to generate the required information for SAM
Hi,
As we are moving away from an NT based enviroment to SAMBA we are

We have an issue with Samba panicking after an error connecting to
CUPS (see log below).
Samba 3.0.7
CUPS 1.1.20

Debian Sarge
CUPS 1.1.21
SAMBA 3.0.7

and LaserJet 5SI, Postscript):
CUPS was setup with a default of A4 paper size. However, in SAMBA the
users see only Letter size and cannot change this
Hi,
I installed SP2 on a winXP machine (Samba 3.0.7, PDC/LDAP).
Now when I login as a domain administrator the machine will reboot.
No problems logging in as a user or as a local administrator.
No problems connecting to a network resource as a domain administrator.
Nothing in Samba or XP logs.

Hello,
Is it possible to use Group Policies in Samba (or Samba + OpenLDAP etc.)?
I want to replace Active Directory with Samba (and possibly some other
tools like OpenLDAP), and Group Policy is a feature I need to have.
