Hello, We upgraded from Samba 2.2.8 to 3.0 and now Samba performance is really slow !! It takes awefully long to load the profiles than it did before. Even browsing the shares has lag. Please give me some tips on how I should increase this performance. I have attached the smb.conf file. All

We have 20-30 computers here with win98 and a Linux/Samba Server. We have just implemented Samba PDC. The only problem I see is if we change passwords on a computer..that changes on that workstation and on Samba and Unix. Now, if the user goes to another computer they have their old password on

HelloI am able to loggon and see my share drives on samba and stuff...but cannot change my samba (network) password and subsequently unix password. It shows Invalid password, but I have checked it, I enter passwords exactly the way i enter in samba and unix. My smb.conf is below...Please help!
