could you send us your smb.conf? Maybe there is an error like deny user or
your account has been deleted/deactivated. Is your administrator

Deactive all Printers pointing to LINUXSMB, deconnect all network drives
(especially in the win2k network neighborhood overview and workplace) and
try again. Then go to cmd and do a net file and net use -

not be able to save any changes to the server
but you you will have local profile on the machine. No changes will

The script chokes on loading the smb.conf on the ads server = line.
I've tried configuring/compiling again, using the rpm and nothing get me
past that point.
I think the ads server was renamed to password server, maybe you should
check this.

machines the secure-channel-flags are deactivated. Passwords are given and
are exactly the same, machine accounts are XXXNOPASSWORD etc, of course. And
a new user int02 gets the same error

after a few weeks I have another serious problem with my PDC(SuSE 7.3
GNU/Linux, Kernel 2.4, named,dhcp etc. newest versions, AthlonMP from 1.4 to
1.0,RAID10).
Samba runs as PDC, no printing support, but WinS.
At first, 2 weeks ago, the server crashed after every ~5 minutes marshall
