Hi, I'm currently using Samba 2.2.8a and when I try to set some permissions on a directory from Windows, Samba only adds the permission to the directory itself and not the sub-directories. Is there a way to make Samba set the permissions on the sub directories also? Thanks Jean-Rene Co

I tried to compiled Samba on Redhat it worked but the Redhat patch didn't work out of the box when I tried to use it to compile OpenLDAP on Slackware. Also I'm not sure that's the right way to do it but it works for me! Let me know if it works.
