my root is a member of the Domain Admins:

after upgrading our ldap server, the Domain Admins group doesn't work
anymore.
Members of the domain admins group don't have any special rights on the
workstations (for example, they cannot even change the date of a machine in
the
domain anymore).
When I lookup the group members I get:

samba version: 3.0.23d-4 on debian etch.
To enforce complex passwords I've added the line:
check password script = /usr/local/scripts/checkpw
Where checkpw is a script returning 0 if ok, and returning an error if not
ok.
The restrictions the script checks are:
at least one
hide unreadable = yes

well.. almost all, there is one group which doesn't have a groupmapping:
