I checked through the archives and I didn't see this one. This has been
driving me absolutely crazy for months now and I finally tumbled to what was
going on.
I get hesitations of up to 2 minutes from some of our XP machines when
printing to a printer on the Samba server.
My first suspicion
In the last two weeks or so, after years of no problems with Samba printing
from Windows machines in our office, we suddenly started having problems with
very slow printing. So far, I have resolved this to two different situations.
In Windows XP, if you would give the netbios name of the server
