i used slackware version 12.1 and kernel version 2.6.24.5.
When i upgrade samba to version 3.2.4.
i want to use swat to configure my samba server,
and i got the message "swat cann't load share file libtalloc.so.1:no such file
or directory"
How can i soultion thih problme? thanks

0)Yes secrets.tdb was the file i was looking for.
1) But still a question remains ->
After copying secrets.tdb i had to do "net ads join -U ".
After this i was successfully connected to the domain.
( Also i would guess here that copying secrets.tdb was not necessary because
even without

I currently use bacula for 3 linux servers, 1 freebsd box, and 1 windows
box. It's great, allow a week for the configuration, it's rather
confusing, but once it's up it runs like a champ!

Hey guys, I'm trying to get Samba running to share some stuff out over my
network. My main box is running gentoo, but I've got two more machines that
run windows (for work, ugh, I hate it, don't think I'm a microsoft lover)
Anyhoo. I got it setup and got cups installed and setup my smb.conf
Is there someone who knows were i can get a binary distribution of Samba
with AD-support for Sun Solaris 2.6 Sparc ?
I have tried everything (even compiled on a Solaris 8) but it all fails :-(
