I Believe that this could be a corrupted secrets.tdb file that may be
losing your ldap password. Please note that this is only a guess. I
really can't offer you too much in the way of help.
Your logs show a search of ldap for a lot of posix account
information. I don't know if that is normal
I noticed that after I moved from tdbsam to ldapsam for my passdb
backend, the group mappings had disappeared. After reading the docs, I
found that this information is stored in LDAP (makes sense).
The problem is the HOWTO Collection only says that it is the
administrators responsibility to store
The example given by Jose (thanks by the way) creates a new group,
both posix and unix in the LDAP Directory. What if I want to map the
unix root group to the NT Domain Admins group?
Do I just add the entries to the root group listed in the directory,
