Ignore this.
Stopped Samba, removed browse.dat and wins.dat, started Samba. Seems to have
fixed the problem.

The one running Suse Linux is working fine, but the Solaris 8 domain controller
doesn't list any XP machines in its browse list (the Firewall is off on the XP
machines). Lists Unix machines, 2000 and 2003 machines.

We have two sites, one has a Solaris 8 PDC running Samba v3.0.20.
The other has a SuSE 9.3 PDC running Samba v3.0.20b.
I upgraded them both to Samba v3.0.21, and had similar problems. Profiles were
often not being saved and I was getting an INTERNAL ERROR in the Samba log when
a user logged in.

it asks for print drivers.

The problem is caused by me not setting CPPFLAGS when I compiled!
Compiled again and nmbd has linked in libiconv.

before WINS. We use Bind 9 and ISC DHCP v3 already so it is possible to setup.

print from their PCs (the machine also controls printing via Samba and Cups).
