Good day,
I would like to put Computer accounts in a different OU from the user
accounts.
Is this possible ?
I read that there is a bug regarding this and that Computer accounts can
only be created in the People OU.
Is this still true ?
I'm using Samba 3.0.10
Any help appreciated thanks and
I don't think its Samba related,
I've seen this happen on our 2003 AD Domain.

Hi There,
I apologise for posting this again but our mail server went up in flames
and I missed all of yesterdays posts due to bounced emails.
The list then disabled my deliveries which I only realized hours
afterward.
Please resend me the post if there were any regarding this.
Thanks and Rega

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening.
I'm a bit dejected at the moment as all my googleing / howto reading has
brought me no joy,
Apparently there are people out there who have successfully set up Samba
as member server in M$ 2003 ADS.
However I have miserably failed / given up.
What I want to do is
Last line of output when running "smbclient //cupsipp/print$ -k -U nicl -d

Any Idea what this could be or how to resolve ?
Not realy any info on Google I could find

Good day,
I apologise for the long post but I think all is relevant.
Any help would be appreciated. My smb.conf global section at the bottom.
Thanks.
Has anyone set up Samba 3 using winbindd to authenticate on 2003 Active
Directory?
Winbind appears to working correctly.
