# This option tells cups that the data has already been rasterized
cups options = raw
This is an new option in samba 3.0.6
It tells CUPS to leave Your printdata untouched.

this is an known bug in samba 3.0.4
The number of the bug is 1404. It is solved in 3.0.5
Martijn Moret sent me patched packages of samba 3.0.4 because I need an
working update on our server. (thanks Martijn)

I don't know exactly, whether this option is valid for samba 2.2.8.a

if Your sambaversion is 3.0.4 it looks like an known bug.

These bug prevents some applications to access sambashares.
I hope an new sambaversion will be released soon. I'm not geek enough

I have upgraded samba from 3.0.2 to 3.0.4 on our Fedrora core 1 server.
(server role = standalone)
All programs (e.g OpenOffice.org)on the Winclients work perfect with the
servershares. They can read, write...
Only the NT-backup program from 2000 and XP can't connect to the mapped
networkdrive.

check Your firewall. The fw has blocked traffic on that port on my
machine (Fedora core 1). That solved the same problem for me (newbie).
