It could be a name resolving issue. Try creating a lmhosts file in the
etc folder using the examples listed in the file. Copy lmhosts.sam
lmhosts then edit the lmhosts file (it doesn't have an extension).

You can also use group membership comparisons within the login script
using a windows tool called ifmember.exe. Both the vbs/bat files and

it might just be a DNS/WINS issue. I have this problem if the client
is on a different subnet so I have to edit the clients lmhost file and
add the PDC as an entry, reboot and then it works.
